What wasn’t working

Mitie is a facilities management company providing specialist facilities and hygiene services across the UK. Serving a diverse customer base including banks, hospitals, schools and retailers nationwide means Mitie must regularly recruit talent at scale. But without a centralisedcentralized system recruiting at volume and managing stakeholders was proving challenging:

  • No centralisedcentralized resource to handle all recruitment meant inconsistent processes for HR, hiring managers and candidates;
  • Average of only 3.5 applications per vacancy wasn’t meeting high volume recruitment needs;

The turning point

Graham Rolland, Recruitment Project Manager, knew there was a better way. The “One Mitie Resourcing” initiative was created to find one ATS that could support two resourcing models (high volume and specialist recruitment) while offering one unified way of working for all stakeholders.
